RX5207 Summary:
RX5207 is an asynchronous current mode (CC mode) DC-DC boost converter that controls the external NMOS through EXT Pin. It inputs a low startup voltage of 2.5V and a voltage operating range of 2.8V~28V. It can be used for single lithium battery applications ranging from 3V to 4.2V, and connects Vout to HVDD Pin. Accurate feedback voltage of 1.2V, built-in soft start time, external programmable working frequency, external current setting resistor connected to CS Pin to GND for programming inductor peak protection current.
The maximum duty cycle of RX5207 is 90%, and it can achieve higher power output according to the selection of external MOSFETs, such as 100W, 200W, and a maximum power output of 300W. In addition, the chip can also adjust the operating frequency by connecting a resistor between the RT pin and ground, with a frequency range of 100kHz~1000kHz.
The RX5207 chip supports soft start function, which limits the PWM duty cycle when the chip starts, allowing the duty cycle to slowly open to avoid momentary input of excessive surge current.
