    CST5118 Microwave radar module product specifications:( TA=25)

        The default value is 5s. The default value is 5 seconds.
        Lock time refers to the time when the output status is flipped and no response is triggered again. The default value is 2s.
        There are two kinds of boot initialization for configuring different software:
            1, no quick detection mode initialization status description: After the module starts up the O port output high for 1s, it is always low, and the normal detection mode begins after 7s
            2, there is a quick check mode initialization state description: the module boot O port output 3 times high (1s) low (0.5s) level, and then 5s into the induction mode, the first induction is fast check mode (induction delay is fixed 3s), and then into the normal detection mode.



    CST5118 microwave radar module matching drive power supply design notes:
        Must use the output voltage, current and ripple coefficient of the drive power supply are up to standard, the drive power supply is unstable, electromagnetic radiation is too strong, will cause the CST5118 microwave radar module false alarm, no perception, cycle self-starting and other phenomena;
        The supporting drive power supply should be 3.5~18V, the drive current should not be less than 5mA, the power ripple amplitude should be controlled within 100mV, and the power frequency fluctuation amplitude should be small;
        When assembling the drive power supply and the CST5118 microwave radar module, avoid the bottom of the CST5118 microwave radar module or the antenna surface facing the drive power module, and try to stay away from the rectifier bridge, switching transformer and other devices with large power frequency interference in the drive power module to prevent interference with microwave signals.
    CST5118 microwave radar module use and test precautions:
        When there are walls or obstacles around the microwave reflection, the perceived distance and perception Angle will gain; In the case of relatively empty surroundings, the perceived distance and Angle will be attenuated;
    Since the microwave antenna can change the detection by a small change, please protect the antenna, do not have metal objects (such as solder wire) on the surface, so as to avoid affecting the perceived distance;
        Handle gently to avoid intense vibration, and the CST5118 microwave radar module remains flat without deformation; The light sensing device is free from occlusion and coverage, especially around the photosensitive element D1 on the CST5118 microwave radar module, opaque occlusion should be avoided;
        The CST5118 microwave radar module maintains an independent use space, and the surrounding space is maintained with a free space interval of more than 2mm.
        After power-on, there is about 7s initialization noise analysis time, during which it is abnormal perception work.

        During production line testing and aging operations, a large number of radar modules may be self-excited if they are stacked together when powered on. Ensure that a safe distance of more than 50cm is maintained between the energized radar modules.
    CST5118 built-in radar module device application installation notes:
        The device equipped with CST5118 microwave radar module should be installed away from ventilation pipes, fire pipes, drainage pipes, mechanical vibration or large metal equipment and other strong vibration objects, because it will affect the radar reflection wave and detection and perception effect;
        Live operation is strictly prohibited, so as to avoid misoperation, wrong connection, burnt circuit or electric shock;
        Avoid installation in sun-soaked places to prevent damage and affect service life;
        The device must be installed away from electromagnetic fields to avoid misoperation caused by electromagnetic interference. It should also be installed away from the place where objects are fixed to rotate or swing (such as electric fans, swaying leaves, drying clothes in the wind, etc.) to avoid wrong actions;
        When the devices of several built-in radar modules are fixed, the spacing between each device shall be ≥0.5m;
        The antenna surface of CST5118 microwave radar module is recommended to be 3~5mm away from the product shell, otherwise the sensing distance will be affected;

        After the radar module is built into the device, it is recommended to place it horizontally or vertically. Within the effective sensing range, try to avoid face-to-face installation of two or more devices with built-in radar modules;
        Avoid the built-in radar module of the device (such as lamps), there are other lighting objects (such as emergency lights, guide lights and other interference light source), so as not to cause the device (lamps) built-in photographic judgment failure, so that the device (lamps) can not work normally (off, misjudged as daytime);
        If a device (such as a lamp) that uses a built-in radar module is always working (steady on) and cannot be turned on or off according to moving target detection, it may be that the radar module is subject to mid-frequency interference, causing the module to judge that there is a moving target in the perceptual range. At this time, the power supply should be turned off to check whether the power supply status of the power supply board is normal and whether the space distance of the module is changed;
        If the above problems can not be solved, please first power off and observe the installation position around the situation, first eliminate the influence of surrounding environmental interference factors; If there is still a problem after restarting the power supply, consider replacing the drive power board of the device or re-verifying the radar module.
