PT6605 Overview:
PT6605 is a detection chip that protects 3-5 series of lithium-ion/polymer batteries. It can detect charging overvoltage, over charging temperature, and low charging temperature events of the battery. It outputs CO signals to detect discharge undervoltage and over discharging temperature events, and outputs DO signals.
The ultra small MSOP-10 package and minimal external component requirements make it easy to integrate the chip into battery packs with limited space.
The overcharging detection voltage accuracy of ± 25mV ensures safe full capacity charging of the battery.
The low-power design of PT6605 allows the battery pack to consume only negligible current during storage.
