NS2582

    The NS2582 is a synchronous boost dual lithium battery charge management chip that supports 4-5.5V input voltage range with a maximum output of 2A current. The chip integrates MOSFETS with very low on-resistance to achieve high charging efficiency, and the chip requires only a few peripheral devices. The NS2582 operates at 1.2MHz and integrates multiple protection functions to maximize the protection of chips and terminal devices. The charging current in CC mode can be changed by adjusting the resistance value of the RICHG resistor, and the constant voltage point of 8.4V or 8.7V can be selected by adjusting the CV pin. Chip built-in input adapter current limiting DPM function, through the external divider resistor set different VSEN voltage to match different adapters. Chip integrated temperature control loop, can intelligently adjust the charging current to control the chip temperature. The NS2582 also has a built-in charging status display function to determine the working status of the battery through the state of the LED. It also supports the normal operation of the synchronous boost function in battery-free mode.
    The NS2582 comes in a standard package of ESSOP-10 and ETSOP-14L.

    NS2582 PCB Layout  建議
    PCB 布局應(yīng)遵循如下規(guī)則以確保芯片的正常工作。
    1、功率線(地線、SW 線、VIN 線)應(yīng)該盡量做到短、直和寬;
    2、VIN 電容 CVIN,電感 L 和 PMID 電容 CPMID 要盡量靠近引腳放置;
    3、升壓拓?fù)涞拈_關(guān)管回路面積要盡量小,走線盡量短;
    4、盡量加大 GND 熱焊盤的面積,提高芯片的導(dǎo)熱效果;
    5、功率開關(guān)節(jié)點(diǎn)(SW Node)通常是高頻電壓幅值方波,所以應(yīng)保持較小鋪銅面積,且模擬元件應(yīng)遠(yuǎn)
    離功率開關(guān)節(jié)點(diǎn)區(qū)域以防止摻雜電容噪音;
    6、電路外圍電阻的放置要盡量靠近引腳,并且遠(yuǎn)離 SW 網(wǎng)絡(luò)走線,以避免噪音干擾。

    NS2582基本功能描述
        NS2582 是一款支持 4-5.5V 輸入電壓范圍,最大輸出為 2A 電流的同步升壓雙節(jié)鋰電池充電管理芯片。NS2582 工作頻率為 1.2MHz,內(nèi)部集成了多重保護(hù)功能。芯片可通過調(diào)節(jié) RICHG 電阻的阻值改變 CC 模式下的充電電流大小。NS2582 具有動態(tài)路徑管理功能,通過連接 VSEN 引腳的分壓電阻網(wǎng)絡(luò)來設(shè)置輸入 DPM 觸發(fā)的閾值電壓,并限制輸入電流值的大小,從而匹配不同的適配器。NS2582 芯片內(nèi)部集成了極低導(dǎo)通電阻的 MOSFETS,以實(shí)現(xiàn)較高的充電效率,芯片只需要極少數(shù)的外圍器件。
    NS2582充電狀態(tài)指示描述
        1.“充電狀態(tài)”——STAT 引腳為低電平;
        2.“充滿狀態(tài)”——STAT 引腳為高電平;
        3.“錯誤狀態(tài)”——STAT 引腳以 1Hz 頻率高低電平翻轉(zhuǎn)。如果 STAT 引腳連接 LED 燈到 VIN,則在充電狀態(tài)時,LED 常亮;在充滿狀態(tài)時,LED 常滅;在錯誤狀態(tài)時,LED 以 1Hz 的頻率閃爍。

    NS2582工作原理
        NS2582 是一款以 USB 接口輸入的開關(guān)模式升壓充電器。采用固定 1.2MHz 的工作頻率以實(shí)現(xiàn)外圍電路最小化的設(shè)計。NS2582 在有電池時,會根據(jù)電池電壓工作在短路模式,涓流模式,恒流模式和恒壓模式。在無電池模式下,可以作為正常的升壓轉(zhuǎn)換器連接負(fù)載,其內(nèi)部集成了恒壓和恒流環(huán)路。

    NS2582保護(hù)原理
        NS2582 內(nèi)置了多重電池保護(hù)功能。在輸入過壓保護(hù),輸出過壓保護(hù),熱保護(hù)觸發(fā)時,升壓充電器會立即關(guān)閉 MOSFETS。當(dāng)電池電壓低于 VSHORT,觸發(fā)短路保護(hù)時,主功率管立即關(guān)閉,芯片以 50mA的電流充電。當(dāng)電池電壓大于 VSHORT 而小于 VTRICKLE 時,充電器工作于輕載模式,調(diào)整 PMID 電壓至6.8V,并以 100mA 的電流充電。當(dāng)電池電壓高于 VTRICKLE 時,芯片工作在 CC 模式下對負(fù)載進(jìn)行充電。

    NS2582輸入 DPM  工作原理
        NS2582 內(nèi)置了 DPM 功能模塊,可以在輸入 DC 源或適配器過載時很好的保護(hù)設(shè)備。當(dāng)過載發(fā)生時,較大的充電電流會拉低 VIN 的電壓值,芯片會檢測 VIN 的電壓值與 SEN 引腳基準(zhǔn)電壓比較,如觸發(fā)了DPM 功能,NS2582 會減小充電電流,并鉗位 VIN 的電壓。

    NS2582恒壓模式電壓選擇
        NS2582 可以設(shè)定電池恒壓模式的電壓值。當(dāng) CV 電壓小于 1V 時,恒壓模式電壓為 8.4V;當(dāng) CV 電壓大于 2V 時,恒壓模式電壓為 8.7V。
