Momentum vector tracking
Momentum vector tracking, in fact, is one of the techniques for processing hand gestures and original handwriting. By tracking the direction of the momentum vector of the capacitance change coordinates, you can predict the direction of the hand gesture. Then, through the change of the capacitance, you can feedback the shape of the object touched by the capacitance. The combination of the two can reproduce the original handwriting or gesture action. At the same time, momentum tracking can also eliminate other noises according to the tracking regularity, which is a good way to accurately detect touch actions.
A good touch IC often combines one or more of the above methods with OS or UI interface optimization to improve the performance of the entire touch system and give users a more complete and beautiful operating experience.
